Internationally acclaimed Bible teacher, author, conference and motivational speaker, lecturer, educator, business consultant and Spirit-filled minister, Rabbi Ralph Messer is the President and Founder of Simchat Torah Beit Midrash® (STBM)―a congregation and school based in Colorado.
Traveling extensively throughout the world, Rabbi Messer addresses critical issues affecting the spiritual and social development of individuals, families, and communities. The central theme of his message is the transformation of believers into Torah teachers and Spirit-filled leaders.
With an Apostolic and Evangelistic anointing, Rabbi Messer teaches the Hebrew Roots of the Christian Faith to various denominations, cultures and groups worldwide. Rabbi Messer is pioneering his work to bring the “Good News” of Messiah in the Torah, to the ends of the earth, fulfilling the great commission to “…make disciples of all the nations” (Matthew 28:19). Facilitating this vision, Rabbi Messer is also the Executive Producer and principal host of numerous radio and television programs aired worldwide.
For more than 34 years, Rabbi Messer has facilitated inter-faith discussions between denominations, cultures and various groups across the country and internationally. Rabbi Messer also conducts leadership training conferences every spring and fall at the STBM International Center.
Simchat Torah Beit Midrash, translates from Hebrew as “The Joy of God’s Teaching and Instruction/House of Study”―STBM is a House of Joy, Worship and Study. STBM is also a premier Publisher and Resource Center for Hebraic materials, Bible courses and curriculum.
Rabbi Messer founded the International Center for Torah Studies™ (ICTS)―a multi-level discipleship program facilitating college-level courses in classrooms internationally, including online Biblical studies available exclusively through the STBM website www.Torah.tv. Additionally, the STBM Hebrew Day School (Yeshiva), currently operates weekly in support of Rabbi Messer’s vision. Here students are educated in the “Torah in the Marketplace” curriculum emphasizing and inspiring our youth, at an early age, to be “deployed” rather than simply “employed”.
STBM owns and operates five TV stations along the Front Range of Colorado, Wyoming, and New Mexico. The Torah TV Network is available 24/7 worldwide on www.torah.tv, in Denver on digital channels 23.2 and 23.3 – KDEO-TV; in Ft. Collins on channel 24 – KMLN-TV; in Wyoming on channel 46 – KDEO-TV; in Colorado Springs on digital channels 38.2 and 38.3 – KJCS-TV; and in Pueblo even reaching parts of New Mexico on channel 16 – KLKA-TV.
Rabbi Messer and STBM have received numerous ADDY Awards—the most prestigious award offered in the graphic design industry—for artistic illustrations and publications.
Prior to entering the ministry full-time as a Pastor and “Teacher”―“Rabbi”, he was born and raised in North Dakota. He graduated from the University of Mary in Bismarck with a Accounting & Business Administration degree and his Masters in Finance. After graduation he worked as a Regional Vice President for a Fortune 500 company, specializing in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, Banking, and the Credit Industries. As an entrepreneur, Rabbi Messer Founded and presided over Midwest Technical of Colorado, a Loss Control and Risk Management provider for Insurance Companies nationwide.
During the time of his business career Rabbi Messer grew his biblical knowledge over a ten year period being actively involved and teaching in the Chabad “ultra-Orthodox” through what was called the Yeshiva Experience. It was during this time with the Chabad movement that Rabbi Messer received his training in the Torah. However, through this experience he realized not only the importance of Torah, but the absolute necessity for people to know both the Torah and Messiah. It is from this point forward that Rabbi Messer began to launch and develop STBM, first part-time in the evenings and then moving into full-time with the ministry.
Along with his wife Maureen, Rabbi & Mrs. Messer have six children actively serving with them in the ministry of STBM. They also have twelve grandchildren who are the joy of their life!
