What are the Cancellation Policies?

Airlines and Hotels take cancellations seriously. When STBM received your funds, we send it to the tour agency as down payment for airlines, hotels, entrance fees, etc. The cancellation schedule is as follows:

Up to 120 days in advance: The agency may return everything paid minus $500. This amount may vary depending upon how much has been confirmed at that time.

Between 120 and 41 days: The tour agency will not return: 75% of land and 100% of air.

40 days or less/no show: The tour agency will not return 100% of the cost of the tour.

Insurance Protection

In a future update, we will be sending out information about insurance, in case of health related issues that may require hospitalization during the trip or in case of trip cancellation because of terrorism. STBM is not responsible of the airlines postponing a trip because of terrorism nor is STBM responsible for health related issues during the tour. Therefore, we encourage everyone to take extra precaution and look into purchasing a Travel Insurance Plan. We will be providing a recommended plan in a future update.
