Join our STBM Colorado community on Monday, December 23, for our 2024 Pre-Chanukah Celebration with STBM Colorado! For a life-changing teaching about Chanukah, come to our headquarters at 5:00 PM MST, in Parker, Colorado, to study and celebrate the season of light! And be sure to bring your kids for our annual Kids Chanukah Hop… we’ll be providing free childcare for the celebration! That includes complimentary bouncy houses, stories, dancing and singing, games, snacks, activities, and STBM curriculum. The event will be catered, but each family can help with desserts and side dishes if they’d like. Based on the first letter of your last name, you’re welcome to bring the following:
  • A-G bring jelly doughnuts (or sufganiyot)
  • H-O bring gelt (chocolate coins) or favorite chocolate
  • P-Z  bring latkes, blintzes, or other side dish

2024 Chanukah Food Drive

If you’d like to share the holiday joy with others, please participate in our annual food drive*! STBM is doing a special Chanukah Food Drive in Denver for those in the community who need a little extra love, light, and happiness this year. From now until December 23, drop off King Soopers gift cards at our STBM location information tables and we’ll hand them out to nominated families during the 2024 Pre-Chanukah Celebration at the Parker Center!

*Due to liability legalities, the 2024 Pre-Chanukah Celebration Food Drive is only able to accept and distribute gift cards from King Soopers this year. Please do not donate any food or clothing.

Many households all over the world are excited for this special week of Chanukah, each one having different ways they remember this important event in history. How do you celebrate? Ralph Messer and STBM would like to invite you to share your Chanukah experience with us this year! Send us pictures of what you do for Chanukah as you celebrate each night, and your photo may be randomly selected to be displayed in our yearly STBM Chanukah Remembrance Community Slideshow during our livestream and on our Facebook Page! Your picture can include (but is not limited to) any of the following:

1. Chanukiah (Chanukah menorah)
2. Latkes (potato pancakes)
3. Sufganiyot (fried, jelly-filled doughnuts)
4. Dreidels
5. Special Chanukah craft

The STBM Children’s Department is excited to announce a special presentation that their students will be sharing with the community on Saturday, December 28, at 7:00 AM MST! Ralph Messer is inviting everyone to come and support the children as they share their surprise year-end presentation with you! Although they can’t give donations like the grown-ups can… they still have the heart to give during the holiday season by showing the community what they’ve been working on in the Children’s Department! Come on down to 19697 E Smoky Hill Rd, Centennial, CO 80015, and take a peek into the children’s world here at STBM. The kids are looking forward to seeing you there!

Educational Movie Production

Ralph Messer invites you to join him on the weekends this December for a special, educational movie production presenting the theme: Chanukah, Then and Now. In view of the events that are currently going on in Israel, this production will be dedicated to the warriors who cannot be with their families this Chanukah, as well as all the soldiers who never made it home. Please come as we raise awareness for Israel during this tumultuous time and donate to the Israeli war efforts. We’ll see you at our normal location every Saturday in person and via live stream.
